Drogba did do the right thing, that guy was an idiot. The Chelsea fan was only going to make things worse, just ban him from going to games for a couple weeks. I don't particularly like Ronaldo or any of the Chelsea players except for Drogba, who actually backs up his paycheck. I think Man U and Chelsea are teams full of overpaid babies who whine when they don't get their way. By the way, Chelsea aren't winning, Man U is.

When your friend is getting punched around, how many police authorities are around to contain the situation?
At the stadium, there were numerous stewards present that were appointed to contain situations like those. The Chelsea players would not have had to do much for that guy to be captured and taken away. The stewards could have handled the situation. And besides, the guy missed and Lampard got away. And I am sure Lamps could have outran the guy if he would've chased him.

Not until Chelsea give respect to their opposition. The fact the manager still refuses to accept Liverpool won the Champions League semi-final in 2005 is a perfect example

I dislike Chelsea because they are cheats, Drogba, Ballack, and Robben are dirty. All dirty players should get heckled.
But as to the incident, no I don't think the Chelsea players reacted badly because they were in a difficult circumstance. If that crazed fan got beaten up, he had it coming.

Of course I completely agree....I've never heard of anyone complain about Ronaldo's dives !!
Take off your blue-tinted glasses you tw@t
And maybe you should earn some respect, you have spent more money than anyone in the past few seasons, but still play ugly football, and aren't even at the top of the league.
I'll respect the Man U team of the 90's and the Liverpool team of the 80's, and even Arsenals beautiful football, and Preston's original invincibes, and Nottingham Forest's European Glory, but why should we respect you?

You shoot yourself in the foot with that final sentence. If we wanted to watch a money making contest, we'd go and watch Barclays Bank.
The fact of the matter is that in order to get respect, you have to earn it. You dont suddenly deserve it just because the man who bought you has lots of cash. If your manager and players continue to behave like arrogant spoilt brats with no humility, then thats what they'll get treated as.
