Most babies fight sleep. Try gently running your finger down her nose. Sometimes this will help them close them and fall into a full sleep.

Bundle her up very tightly in a blanket, with only her head uncovered. Little babies feel much more secure this way, as that's how they are before they're born. Put her on your shoulder and either rock back and forth or use a rocking chair. When she's asleep you don't have to unwrap her when you lay her down. I'm a registered nurse, mother of 4 and grandmother of 3. :-)

Its just a kid thing. When you are a child/baby you fight to keep from goingsleep. When you get old you fight trying to get to sleep. Just a part of life nothing you can do about it. Mine still fight and they are 4 and 2.5.

Life is new and everything is a wonder so they don't like to fall asleep and "miss out" on anything. She'll grow out of it and realize the world will still be there to amaze her when she wakes up.
