Do you know what smudge means? If not, look it up. Wet paint can be smudged...eyeliner (makeup) can be smudged, etc.
Think about what it means, and the kinds of things one can smudge, then put together a sentence. âº

Do you want to use it as a noun or verb?
Noun is far more common: The ink smudge made the contract unreadable.
