If I swim in a pool (indoor, with chemicals & the like) wearing my glasses, will something in the water mess up my glasses? Is there a huge risk of something (dirt? particles?) in the water scratching them? Thanks!

Really, It will probably just be hard, if your vision is too bad to be able to swim without glasses, and if you intend to swim a lot.. they sell goggles with prescription lenses. If not, then no.. the water wouldn't be bad for your glasses, but it will be hard to keep them on.

There are some prescription goggles that people can wear, if u want. Swimming with glasses will be not comfortable. When I went swimming with glasses, I kept on checking if they were still there

no there is not really anything that will harm them
but i dont recommend it because they might fall off, and if there is an especially large amount of chemicals in the pool you probably wont be able to ope your eyes under the water anyway
plus, for some reason, that never reall worked for me, i could never really see much at all

if you have a clean pool, nothing should scratch your glasses, but the chlorine or other chemicals might make your glasses lose quality and clearness.

No real physical damage to the glasses, it's just harder to swim with them on and not at all practical

You can swim with your glasses, but you can also order special goggles that have your prescription so you can still see.

nothing in the pool should ruin them, but i'd really recommend not doing it, in case they fall off and sink to the bottom and get stepped on. wear contacts and goggles.
