My Windows Media Player got deleted........what do i do??

actually my entire profile off of my family's laptop got deleted by my dad, and I lost 8 GB of music, and I'm just wondering if all of those music files are backed up somwhere on the computer??? I'd really appreciate it.....gimme a holler if u know where it is if it's still on there..... :(

sorry the profile is deleted. should have transfered it to a player or another profile.
