Toshiba is okay. But I know a lot of people with Dell. Dell really personalizes your computer. You can upgrades a la cart. You don't get a flat price though, but you can add more memory, a stronger processor, and even have Dell do the XP or Vista installing before they ship it. The Insprion series is great. Try the Dell.

The only differences between a Toshiba and say a Dell is the programs that they install are differen and the type of hardware. Otherwise, it's just price.

Toshiba is a good name.

You do realize you can get a "lemon" from any manufacturer -- it happens.

You want to buy from a seller that give a warranty and a manufacturer that offers support.
