Internet school? Are these accredited?

If you're unable to attend a regular school, you may have other options. If you can afford it, a private teacher would be best. If not, some school districts have special programs that serve children with any number of special needs, including yours.

Sorry you don't feel so good.
You could go to summer school. (bleh)
You could also finish those classes at your school district's continuation high school instead of your current school. I know the first thought that came to your head was, 'That's where all the loosers go'.
Okay, there will be some freaks there but the over-all environment and experience is way better than pushing through halls between classes and sitting in large classrooms when you do not feel 100%. You can study at your own pace in the continuation school and choose to graduate early.
I went to continuation high school and am currently finishing my Masters Degree in Education. My brother went to continuation high school and he is now a mad scientist for Intel. Where you graduate from has no bearing in the future of your education.
High school on the Internet is good and bad. The good is, many University classes are set up now so that 75% + of your work is turned in through the classes website. In some classes the assignments, quizes and other important information is posted ONLY on the classes Internet site. If you did this with high school online, you will be well versed in in navigating the computer part of college. The bad is, it's easy to get sidetracked on a computer with an internet connection.
If you decide to do internet school, do it only until you can take the test for your GED .
PS. If you haven't been to a nutritionist, I think you should go. Many times depression can be invoked when the body is lacking nutrients by crash dieting and/or sporadic eating.

First, think of all of your options:
- Stay in school.
- Go to summer school.
- Take online classes.
- Drop out.
- Any more options?

I personally think you should stay in school. I know someone who is graduating this year from cyber school. She dropped out in 9th grade and she should be in 11th grade this year. However, with cyber school, you move quicker. Most colleges do not accept students because of that reason. Basically, life is a lot easier if you stay in school for four years.

Good luck in deciding! Make sure you get opinions from your parents and school guidance counseler. =)

well talk with your schools administrative office. ask them their opinion. are your grades falling as in failing because of your absences ? or since your turning in the work that you get is that keeping your grades up ? if your grades are alright and your school doesn't think your in danger of failing then i would hold off on Internet school. till next year.
