It helps to get vapor air fresheners. They help make the air moist, and it really helps stop a cough. You should also eat lots of Halls cough drops, and possibly use some Zicam used for coughs and colds. (That's a really good medicine.) Try not to drink cold drinks, because that makes a cough worse. Drink warm Sprite, or juice, because that will help. Try to eat lots of warm foods, like cheese sandwiches and/or soup.

that same thing happened to me
It Sucked i had to stay home from school
i couldn't have any cold drinks so i had allot of warm sprite and juice. i also had an air vaporizer, i used 2 bags of halls and some zicam.
I ate so many cheese sandwiches and at least a quart of soup. Maybe not that much soup. anyways, I think i also drank a gallon of tea.Maybe no that much tea but i still drank allot. When i went to the doctor to make sure i didn't have bronchitis she said i didn't have bronchitis and that i was just getting a cold. I hope this helps but you probably need to see a doctor to see if your getting a cold or bronchitis.

Whiskey works wonders on coughs. I like to take a little Jack Daniels, Some hot water a little honey and some people like to add lemon. It tastes pretty nasty, But the honey soothes the throat, the Whiskey burns out the infection and the lemon has various citrusy good things that help your immunity...

As an aside, if you drink the whiskey straight, and enough of it, you'll forget you were coughing anyway. This technique is faster, but less permanent.

you need to go to another doctor b/c it sounds like you have bronchitis which will if not treated turn into pneumonia.

I know I had bronchitis last year and this year. This year it was on the verge on turning into pneumonia. You need antibiotics and cough medicine with codeine.
