Personally I think the Penguins will overtake the Devils. But I want other opinions.

Oh, I don't know abou that! Martin Broduer is playing strong this year and I think its going to be tough to get enough pucks past him! The devils in the end will prevail and I will be right there watching

Pittsburgh...

They've come so far this season not to. Brodeur has been having a tough time these past few weeks and I think that the Pens have the right attitude up to this point. They have solid support on and off the ice and I think the rest that Fleury had will really help out.

When a team has strong players who give 110% each game like Crosby, Talbot, Armstrong, and Ruutu (to name a few of the many) they can go places. And the place right now is ahead of the Devils...

Let's Go Pens!!!

With only 2 points separating both New Jersey and Pittsburgh in that race, it is anyones guess who'll come out there. Let's take a look at their respective remaining games, starting with New Jersey:

March 22 in Tampa
March 24 in Florida
March 27 in New York against the Islanders
March 28 in Buffalo
March 30 against Philadelphia
April 1 against Boston
April 3 against Ottawa
April 5 in Philadelphia
April 8 against New York Islanders

Now, let's take a look at Pittsburgh:

March 22 in New York against the Islanders
March 24 against Atlanta
March 25 against Boston
March 27 in Washington
March 29 in Boston
March 31 in Toronto
April 3 against Buffalo
April 5 in Ottawa
April 7 against New York Rangers

Pittsburgh is only playing against one team without a chance to make the playoffs right now (Washington), though by the time they play Boston they could be out of it as well. So, looking at it right now, it looks like New Jersey will take it because they currently have an easier schedule, but, that schedule could get more and more favourable for Pittsburgh in the next little while. This will be the Penguins chance to see if they measure up to the big boys in the East. Should be one of the many interesting races down the stretch in the NHL standings as we get towards the playoffs. Buckle up your seat belt, because this is going to be one hell of a ride to the finish.

Well let's see. Devils have a two points edge and a tiebreaker (more wins). Both have 5 road games and 4 home games left. Just a quick glance at the schedules and I think they look pretty similar. They don't have any more head to head matchups left so I'll take the 2 points and go with the Devils.

The Devils for 2 reasons
1- Their remaining schedule is slightly easier than the pens.

2- The Pens have to get 3 more points than the Devils, not 2.

The Devils have more wins than the Pens and that is your first tiebreaker.

Devils

The Devils will win the division because they have a solid goalie in Brodeur. Fleury is def not as good as brodeur. If the pens dont score 2 or 3 goals...they most likely will lose.

I think the Devils arent so much of a challenge anymore. I think the Pens know how to overcome them, so i think the Pens will win.
