They're out of ideas. Everyone is out of ideas. That's why all that's coming out these days is remakes of old movies, Cinderella 4 and The Land Before Time 812.
Seriously, it's all been done.

Nope they did well with Bridge to Terabithia which was expected to be a flop and they still have the Narnia films...not to mention they can simply make a movie version of any of their popular tv shows and make some bucks off that.
Remember Miramax and Buena Vista Pictures falls under the Disney Pictures umbrella.

Remember, Disney had a stretch like this in the mid-'70's to the mid '80's but then had a renaissance starting with "The Little Mermaid," so they may just be going through a dry period right now. Sit back and wait. They'll hit their stride.

The issue is that they stuck too long to their bread and butter of hand drawn animation. It was obvious that the trend was shifting once Toy Story 1 came out. Had they invested early enough into that market they wouldn't be having the troubles they are having. Being a billion dollar conglomerate isn't that bad though.

Yes, they're running out of ideas. Unless if they create other brilliant films like the Incredibles, they're going to have a hard time in the future winning about their audience. But I do miss the old disney classics.

I don't like their movies anymore because they're no longer using the traditional hand drawn animation, instead they've got that CGI stuff.....and they no longer have no originality in movies. Pixar would do SO MUCH better without them.
