Ebay is a legit way to work from home. It's not easy to become established but well worth a try.

There are not many home based businesses that you are going to find that are not mlm. There is always going to be someone at the top with a lot of people under them which equates to mlm.
I have been with my company for the last eight months and really like it. They have been in business for 23 years with loads of credentials, experience and success.
You also state that you don't want selling. If you don't sell a product or service, then you are merely doing nothing but a pyramid scheme and will loose your shirt.
You need to get onboard with a reputable company with good products/services and a good training program. This is the only way you will be successful at reaching your goals and getting what you want.
As the others stated in their answers, be very weary of scams, incomplete information and non -reputable companies.
Good Luck!

I just finished adding to my blog the whole MLM business scam. Surveys get ugly too. Whatever these people on here approach you with, DO NOT buy into it until you've researched it thoroughly. Read my blog and check to see if that site is on there. If i've written about it, it's a scam.

I recommend you do a little research with the Business Opportunity Search Engine. Being community driven it’s a cross between a search engine and a Wikipedia. You can add, delete and improve the results for much more focused answers than a general search engine can provide. http://www.BusinessOpportunitySearchEngine.com
