Also, when you see an apartment you are interested in, search for reviews at this site : http://apartmentratings.com this has been really helpful for me, in determining what complex to move into, and getting opinions of residents and former residents, I think you could benefit from it as well.

I used forrent.com, rent.com, and apartments.com, and got different results from each! All 3 of these are great - there are pictures, floorplans, and detailed descriptions about apartments. The only thing is the contact info for a lot of these places were wrong, and I ended up having to go to the phone book and search for numbers myself. But I do highly recommend the sites anyway.

I recently found an apartment in November using rent.com. The website gave me a $100 gift card for mentioning the website when I signed my lease. Not too bad... Eh!

Pic look nice on the net but when you get there that's a different story.
I rent on the net and got there they where 3 police car in the parking lot
i ask the manager he replied they live here.
I took the apartment and notice new Windows and door.
My neighbor told me they shoot the guy thru the window and smash the door for a dry raid
i stay 1 month and got the less broken
