Don't know any more than you.Suppose they do have these things at area 51 why would they want to broadcast it? they are probably trying to understand and utilise the the technical knowledge they get from these craft. They would probably want to use this in a military sense so would not want potential enemies to be aware of any developments that may not be in the best interests of America. As regards the general public they probably feel what difference does it make to them to know or not, as it is probably only idle curiosity on their part and if they openly declared that alien craft had landed or were active in the skies above America a lot of people would be **** scared and there might be the possibility of causing unnecessary panic. But there again these things might not even exist. Who knows..

Well, from a lighthearted point of view I feel Scotland has Nessie,we seem to have no end of ghost sightings so I presume the Americans have to hold onto something & what better than U.F.O`s it may well be that area 51 is their top secret base for trying out new ideas on a community that believes in that sought of thing,I don`t know really but, until someone can convince me otherwise U.F.O`s are just that & nothing more.

to suppose it is true then it is to protect our way of life

Public reaction to 'visitors' would be difficult to determine

In the 30's Orson Wells created mass hysteria when he was the commentator on a mock alien invasion over the radio
(War of the worlds is about a realistic alien invasion if you have ever been cultured enough to read it)

Was this a test to see how we would react?

There is life out there without question the universe is too vast for it to contain only us on this tiny rock

I would like to point out we are on the edges of this Galaxy. This means life, in the similar design of our own (if there) has had more time to evolve as these star systems were created much earlier than our own. This means they would technologically be far more ahead than us at the present time.

Question is have they found their way to our backyard yet? And if not when?

"In the 30's Orson Wells created mass hysteria when he was the commentator on a mock alien invasion over the radio.
Was this a test to see how we would react?"

Orson Welles was directing a dramatisation of H G Wells's book "The War of the Worlds" for a regular radio theatre spot. He was not commentating on a "mock alien invasion". Some people who didn't realise it was a play thought it was real and reacted accordingly.

Some people believe we are being visited by aliens and the the various governments of the world are hushing it up. Since when did the governments of the world agree on anything? There just isn't any evidence that we are being visited by extraterrestrials. None, not a skerrick. Hundreds of thousands of web pages devoted to alien invasions are not evidence of anything but mass hysteria.

Many religions of the world consider mankind to be greated in the image of the creator. SO...if some alien comes along that is more advanced than us...the people who are supposed to be modeled after the supreme being...what's that say about our religions?

I think that if I had something that would provide a swift kick in the pants to most of the religious people on the planet, I'd try not to upset them too much, and just keep it hidden in the closet...

Nah. back interior the day there have been many claims of seeing alien deliver's, or relatively purely weird and wonderful airplane flying around 'section fifty one'. Over there there is easily an air tension base the place they examined out their spyplanes, for this reason weird and wonderful finding planes. this does not propose although that extraterrestrial beings do not exist, we would possibly under no circumstances comprehend.

Do you honestly think the government of the United Sates could keep a secret of that magnitude, for that long with all those people involved? If so, you vastly over-rate the competence of your elected officials, dear.

I think you've been watching WAY TOO MUCH television. There are no aliens or space ships being hidden in New Mexico. I was stationed there for 116 days with the USMC. The only thing that goes on at that base is project testing that is classified. The reason that peolpe are turned away is that no photos are allowed of anything on the base to prevent selling of national security secrets.

If you really believe that "the big bad terrible government" is hidding dangerous aliens, you've watched "Men In Black" one too many times.

Look at it this way... freedom for earthlings who will want the technology, & that mode of transport...

That means, much less tax/es & profits for the big boys, & less power to the governments...

Now tell me you still don't believe there is a conspiracy to discredit the pilots etc., who have reported seeing very advanced crafts...

If earth developed out of the forces of the universe, then it stands to reason that their are other plants out their not unsimilar to ours. Therefore I believe that the life on those plants would be similar also ie:humanoid. The question is how much older are they? how many years of evolution are they ahead of us? and if they haven't destroyed themselves, have they found a way to travel very, very fast!! and even if they had, why would they want to visit hear?
