Should I wait longer than the week I take the placebo pills to start, or cut my period short? I'm not sure how this will affect my body. Anyone have any experience with this?

The placebo pills do nothing...so delaying them won't work...

Take active pills (skip the placebos) until you want to start your period. Then take your week of placebos. Then after your period, start a new pack just like you normally would.

Seasonale works much the same way..you take active pills for 3 months straight, and then when you take the placebos, your period starts.

I don't think you can change the day your period comes, however you can skip it all together. Just don't take the placebo pills and go straight to a new pack continuing as normal.

However, my doctor told me only skip one period and have it next time. If you are like me you will have a bad period next time. But if you have any other questions speak to your doctor

If you are sexually active, just remember that you could get pregnant messing around with the pill trying to accomplish your goal, but in order to make it come earlier or later in the month, you would have to start the placebo at the time of the month that you want your period to start. Just BE CAREFUL!

you should go to planned parenthood. they can help you out with any questions you have. if you are just switching brands of pills i don't think there should be a problem but still let a professional tell you. with the depo shot you have to get it on schedule... or if you miss one then you have to get it within the first 5 days of your next period... i dont know if all methods are the same though.
