“We know the adversary. We know the threat. And with the same firmness of purpose that any effort against a determined adversary demands, we must get at it and stay at it. Some might ask, how in the world could the Secretary of Defense attack the Pentagon in front of its people? To them I reply, I have no desire to attack the Pentagon; I want to liberate it. We need to save it from itself.” (sept 10th 2001)

if you lazy minded americans cant see that this WAR is within our own government than you dont deserve the freedoms you have, and by that token you WILL lose your freedoms, as you have been over the past six years. YOU, in fact hate your freedoms if you dont call a spade a spade and hold this govt accountable for lying to us regarding the 911 cover story. FACT! deal with it.

Just put down the Weekly World News for a few minutes, and things should turn out all right. Rumsfeld wasn't talking about a literal, flying-200-ton-bomb-into-side-of-building attack; he was talking politics. At any rate, what reason could President Bush have for wanting to kill innocent Americans? You may not like him, and I certainly don't agree with everything he does, but he isn't the demon as whom you seem to enjoy making him appear. If this is such a fact, why isn't he rotting out the rest of his life in some prison cell? Because it's a conspiracy? Please. Go look for some real truth, not delusions.

Your right about the cause of 911 being carried out by are own government, and Rumsfeld also said, what America needs is a New Pearl Harbor, to give the present administration a reason to invade Iraq. The present individuals in the White house are a danger to our freedoms here at home and are bringing the world closer and closer to a Nuclear War. I personally urge citzens to become pro-active and constantly write letters to your representatives, We need to rid the government of George W. Bush and his cronies. Be Pro-Active.

What Donald Rumsfeld was talking about was the money that was missing from the budget that the Pentagon could not account for due to its accounting procedures. Let's keep this in context shall we? I'm take nobodies word for anything. I do my own research.

If Rumsfeld did say that, What is the connection between that and 9/11?

OK, first.. Don't generalzise, you don't know who is reading your question.. did you call me "lazy minded"?? Did it ever occur to you that only about 40% of AMERICANS support Bush's government? Which means.. 60% agree with you.

You aren't the first to question our government as far as 9-11 goes, so don't act like you are "the original anti-Bush"

ummmm....yeah...we ardy know this. But whats cool about America is that we can thing and do whatever we want b/c we do have these freedoms you think we don't deserve.

but whatever dude....more power to yah for being upset about our gov lying to us. They let Pearl Harbor happen to get us into WWII why wouldn't they let 911 happen to get us back into the Middle East? *shrug* it sucks but that tacted has been used for centuries to get the common masses behind a campaign.

Yes, mass paranoia. Everything is a conspiracy. The "man" is out to get us all and feed us to the terrorists or worse. People had (and still have) conspiracy theories about Pearl Harbor.

He was talking about saving from the shambles it was left in by the Clinton administration. They emasculated the Pentagon during their reign of terror.
