i have got to pick up my nintendo wii tommorrow otherwise id be camping out ! the things i do for my daughter x

its funny how people are finding it so easy to get hold of a PS3 at LAUNCH when you still can't get Wii's in the shops and they have been out 5 months nearly.
360 has same games and more exclusive ones coming. also HD content to download soon.
Once the launch is over the PS3's will be sitting on the shelves whilst the other consoles fly out the door.

Well I havent pre-ordered one as first im not really a playstation fan also they don't even care about Europe anymore although its there best market as they have took so long to release it and they are only selling the premium one at launch.
Also the premium PS3 is about £500 in europe and only $600 in US which is about £300 so they are over charging you.
Also HD DVD will become main stream and PS3 will flop and Wii will win so even if I did want one (they have great graphics) I wouldnt buy one for that reason.
Also just a tip you could have just imported one from US as they are region free so it wouldnt matter and you save money and they are freely avalible in US.

I am not going to name the shop I work at, but this week we have received thirty so far. Out of these only four will make it to the shelves as the staff have preordered all the rest. In fairness the management have restricted the staff to one each (those who wanted one obviously) to prevent them buying to sell on e-bay etc. I have not bought one as I feel the price is ridiculous for a game console, no matter how good it is, but good luck to everyone who is camping out to get one.

Did you know next October they are shelling the prices, taking $100 off due to lack of sales? And its kinda weird that down here they're still on the self.

My friend has one preordered for this weekend and his girlfriend is away all weekend. he's planning a 3 day session in his pants. i'm very disturbed by that thought!
