After they guess which Tool-dle to use, they say cheers... ok, I get that what but why, "you got ears, say cheers?" What does ears have to do with it?

They say "You've got ears, say cheers!" when you have used all the tools and the mickey mouse shape is complete(with ears). Hence, you've got ears, say cheers!

My kids watch it too... and I wonder that as well. Maybe it's just trying to get the kids to interact with the show?
