I am thinking of enrolling in one of their on-line courses. All the feedback I get is from their website, which can be pretty biased. If you are studying with them in an on-line course, please give me your comments and advice. Thank you in advance.

I am in my second year at Kaplan Uni. It has been a great experience so far but takes allot of dedication. They are always there to answer any questions that I might have. I am 37 yrs old and didn't do very well in high school but came to the realization I had to go to collage to move ahead in my career. I am enrolled in the AA business management with 4 semesters to go and have gotten A's in every class hoping to get on the Alpha Betta Kappa society soon. It is harder then the traditional collage becouse there is no face-to-face interaction. You have to make yourself "go"to class everyday, it is easy to put it off becouse it is out of your house on your time so you have to dedicate time just for studying.

Kaplan Inc. and BarBri Inc. are currently defendants in a pending class action lawsuit. The plaintiffs allege that BarBri violated federal antitrust laws by colluding with Kaplan, Inc. The plaintiffs allege that the two parties agreed that BarBri would not compete in the LSAT business and Kaplan agreed not to compete in the bar review business, thereby protecting their respective markets from competition. Both West Publishing Company (parent of BarBri), and Kaplan, Inc., deny the allegations. A jury trial was originally scheduled for September 12, 2006, but the court has rescheduled the trial date to February 13, 2007

I can't recommend Kaplan, but currently I am getting an on-line Master's Degree at UMUC (University of Maryland University College). I would definitely recommend it. www.umuc.edu
