I believe being honest would be best. Explain how your not at your best today dealing w/a cold or whatever you have. (do not shake hands and then tell them) explain prior to the handshake. Tell them your normally very healthy but caught a bug. Tell them your really wanting the job and would like to continue with the interview. Good luck and I think w/honesty you just may ace it.

how sick are you? If you have over 102 or pukeing i would call off. b/c you odnt want 2 puke on him or pass out but if not get your best bussiness outfit you can find. Take a shower put your hair in a professional bun or clip( the easiest way for a girl to look good on a bad hair day) Dont wear high heels b/c your probably dizzy. If you are pale as can be as some blush and do your regular make up routine. If this is sooooooooo important 2 u then do it but if you feel as if you are going to like die getting off that couch STAY HOME. there is like you said next time and trrrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyy your best 2 reschedule maybe just maybe they willl

I would go as it never looks good to cancel a first interview. But make sure some how you let them know that today you are not feeling 100% up to par but at the same time don't come across as the sick type you may loss the job for that..
Good Luck

I had a damaging chilly/flu trojan horse and replaced into up the previous night each hour with diarrhea the full works. I went besides and have been given the interest. without understanding your age, i won't inform you to flow or not. whether, there is one ingredient to evaluate that your ailment possibly intensified because of the assumption of happening the interview - tension. Why, not attempt and flow on the interview. you will possibly be able to do extra effective then you definately think of and you reported that the keep is beginning interior a month and that should grant you sufficient time to get to feeling extra effective. ultimate of luck and that i wish you get to feeling extra effective quickly.

If it's an interview that is that unforgiving, what will the job be like? SO you know the answer, go and excuse yourself for how you look and sound... or ask for another time in a day or so.

Pull your sh*t together and get to that interview, you can make it through an hour max interview even if you are sick. Use plenty of make up to put the color back in your face. Dress to impress and keep telling yourself that you've never felt better. You can make it.

Clean yourself up and get it together and go if you want a chance at this. I have to work whether I'm sick or not, so you can beleive if you don't show up for an interview becuz your sick, it will not go in your favor!
Chin up, you can do it!

if it was 24 hours or more before the interview I would tell you to reschedule but since it's today, you gotta go or you'll have no chance at that job. remember- don't call in sick, crawl in sick.

calling in sick for a job you don't even HAVE yet might look kind of bad. i think i'd call, explain that i am ill and ask, "would you like me to show up regardless? i'd hate to make someone else sick from whatever i have."
at least that SOUNDS considerate, and i'd abide by what i'm advised to do by them. genuinely sorry for the bad timing as well as your illness.
