Hi, I saw this deal for a Dell Dimension E521 Desktop that comes with a 19" LCD and looks like it is fully loaded for $529.

Is that good? Or should I hold out for a better deal?

I found it at http://dealchatter.com in the "#1 deal of the day section".

It looks like it's only for one day.

Thanks for your help everyone.

Yes I got mine last month but I added a DVD burner so it came up to $588 plus tax. Since you say it comes with a 19inch monitor I would advice you to buy it ASAP, mine came with a 15.6 inch.

It REALLY DEPENDS!!! It depends on possessor, hard drive, memory, etc. The basic, basic ,BASIC E521 with a 19'' LCD is $599 on dell.com BUT!!! this is the most basic computer in the UNIVERSE!!! If you want to do anything complicated on this computer, it probably can't do it. This is the cheapest computer Dell sells & without the fancy monitor it's $359. My advice is if you want a cheap computer you spend the extra cash on upgrading your hard drive, memory, processor (not nessicarialy in that order)

if you buy a dell system don't go for the basic Vista version, you will not be able to do anything with it, and check out Dells after sales service,, it does have a bad name,,

Me I would not have a Dell given to me if anything goes wrong with it only dell can fix it, no one else will touch them,,

It's not a bad deal, but I don't know. There's something about a website that can't spell deal (deel) correctly.
