Laughlin is about 1 1/2 hours away and is great. You can go jet skiing on the Colorado River or my favorite ski spot is Katherine Landing. Beautiful there. There are about 10 casinos and prices are awesome. You can go across the bridge and be in Arizona and then drive about a 1/2 hour and be in California. Very neat area. No matter what you choose have fun in Vegas. I will be there in April.

You're in Vegas, why in the world would you want to take a day trip somewhere else? Talk about miss placed priorities, if you can't keep yourself busy and happy in Vegas...you shouldn't be going in the first place. What a waste of good Vegas time.

Go to LA- It's only a 4 hour drive away. The grand canyon is also about 4 hours away.

There is Red Rock Canyon and the Grand Canyon. Also we have Lake Mead. Other than that I can't help you.
