I recommend you sit down with her consultant and try the products. If you are not interested in that then see if she has website where you can complete a skin care questionnaire to find out what is best for you. The consultant can then make recommendation based on your answers. I have been using Mary Kay for almost 10 years now and when I switched to the anti ageing I was so impressed I started selling it.
The products are 100% guaranteed so make sure you let the consultant know if you are not completely satisfied.

IT WORKS!!! The makeup alley has very good reviews on these products and I've put several family members on this line, which now love. I do have a suggestion on the microdermabrasion though. If you don't have mature skin and tend to be a little sensitive, don't use it 2/3 times a week like the directions suggest it, (only use it once a week) or (3 times every 2 weeks). If you want to try a cheaper version, I suggest you try (Mary Kay Time Wise Moisturizer with spf 15 for $22). It works on all skins and you will spend much less if you don't feel you need all the anti-aging product just yet.

It's my understanding that if you have acne the microderm would not be good for you. Mary Kay has a great acne medication gel you might want to try. Also, a mattifier might be worth a try. You don't say how old you are, but their Velocity line is for younger skin. Also, the beads in the Timewise 3in1 cleanser might irritate your acne. There is a creamy cleanser for oily skin that would not. As for sensitive, all their products are made for sensitive skin and are anticomedigenic (sp?).
Go back to your friend and ask her for samples of the different line to see what you like. Also, all the product come with a money back, no questions asked guarantee.
Good Luck.

I would start with the TimeWise basic or miracle set for oily skin and see how that goes before adding the microderm abrasion. you also mentioned that your skin is oily yet dry so I would recommend the Oil Free Hydrating Gel. For the Acne I would go with the Acne Treatment Gel. I think the Microderm abrasion would just aggrivate the acne.

I personally do not like Mary Kay, the quality is really not there , I tried many products, I did find a company beeroyalproducts.com they have a skincare line called bee-luscious and oh my God it is amazing, my skin looks and feels like velvet. I too have sensitive skin and this has been the only products I have ever used that has not given me a reaction ...Good Luck

I think it would be great for your skin - and the good news is, Mary Kay will always refund your money if you don't like it. Make sure you moisturize after wards tho!

i have the same type skin as you and i've tried the mary kay things... they're really good and work ok on sensitive skin. the only reason i don't use it anymore is because it's quite expensive to use all the time.

I think it maybe a good idea but not use the microdermabrasion set everyday, maybe every other.
