I have recently talked to many people who do not think that Leo is talented, I however find him wonderful, I think his work has been on an upward spiral since "Whats eating Gilbert Grape", Opinions?

What's Eating Gilbert Grape is one of my favorite movies.
Yeah, I like him. He's not one of my favorites but I think he's talented.

Yeah, I agree - he did a great job with Gilbert Grape's younger brother. I think he's always done a great job in all his movies. Also, when you're nominated for an Academy Award, it's an acknowledgement that you're an exceptionally talented actor. But many people just don't like him for some reason....oh well, to each his own.

I think he is talented. I did not see Gilbert Grape but liked him in the Titanic and Gangs of New York. He has such a youthful and boyish look about him that for some people it might be hard to take him seriously when playing a tough character.

Whats Eating Gilbert Grape might be the dumbest movie of all time. I couldn't stand him. But I actually just finished watching Blood Diamond, and he was awesome in it. And The Departed is easily one of the best movies of all time. Leo made that movie for me. So I guess he is pretty amazing, even if he's had a few movies that I didn't really enjoy. Boo Ya!!!

I think Gilbert Grape was terrific !!!! I think he is an excellent actor just look at Romeo & Juliet and the Basketball Diaries.

the thing about leonardo is that he isn't like most actors who choice big budget peices that are going to keep them famous he picks the ones that he likes and even if they are kinda complex somehow he shines like the twenty five million he made last year some of his work is really confusing that is the piece not his work in it. i believe he truely becomes his characters because every intereview i have ever seen him in he is lookin for an exit like he's going to bolt for the door at any second but his characters are all reallitively calm and in control and not jittery like the real leo seems to always be.

If you haven't seen " What's eating gilbert grape" make it your mission this weekend to rent it. I loved Leo in this film, he truly showed that he can act in this one. I was never really a fan of his movies until I saw " The Departed". When I saw "Blood Diamond" I became a true fan he was excellent in this film.
** He is also very sexy**:-)

I fell in love with him in The Titanic, I think he is hugely talented! I agree that his work is getting better and better. I was happy that he got nominated for an academy award this year and even though he didnt win, at least his talent is being recognized! Btw, he also took the loss most graciously, if you happened to see the show.

I think Leo is a talented actor. He also have a good heart. He cares for the environment..and he's also doing that thing in Israel. Good for him.
