I have searched and searched and searched and the best cameraphone I can find offers a 3.2 megapixel camera.......
Are there any better ones out there ?
Im not too interested in the phone functionality but more interested in having a good camera which just happens to act as a phone too !

the best one is the k800i, i have it and it is as good as a digital camera, no pixilation and really clear pictures up to 1600 x 1200 pixels on your pc

You are never going to get a phone camera to be as good as todays cameras. Just buy a canon ixus and a good phone. whats the point in having 1 crap device than 2 good ones!

Well the best are about 8megapixel but thats only in korea and if you want a camera that much just get a digi cam you can get a 6MegaPixel camera for £30!

camera wise i would prob say the sony ericson k800i as this has the cyber shot but my samsung d600 takes great pictures i only lose quality if i zoom in too much but thats fine for me, try friends phones or go into a mobile shop, if the shop is any good they will show you the picture quality on a working handset then you can decide for yourself, if you are planning on taking lots of photos then i would advise a mobile that has a memory card then you can store more photos and they can be printed either on home pc using a card reader reader or bluetooth or take the memory card into a shop and have them printed

Well you can get a razor from VERIZON.
It has very good pictures but it might be a little more money than the magapixel camera, but that phone has barely any other good things only pix (Razer is better)

i had used many many mobile so i can get a feeling what are you looking for... here is my know-how.....
just don't look for how many Mega-Pixel Mobile had to offer (1.3, 2.0, 3.0, 3.2,5.0....), Sharp 1 MP CCD Camera is better than Nokia N93 3.2 MP...

I have a sony erricson k800i, one of the best for taking pics. Afraid its only 3.2 megapixel, I would get digital cam, if you lose your phone least you got your digital cam and vise versa

Sony Ericsson K790a is the best out there right now followed by the LG CU500. They r both good.

truthfully digital camera. it consistently has extra valuable lens than digital camera telephone. form of Mpix is way less significant than lens, believe. digital camera has also extra valuable outfitted-in application than digital camera telephone.
