Hi,

If you compare Magic Kingdom and Disneyland Paris, you'll find that the most of the rides in Paris are better than in Florida. Part of the the reason is that they're newer. Big Thunder is faster, Space Mountain has nothing in common with the one in Florida (it's like Aerosmith, but faster and more beautiful). Even the castle and Small World seems better to me in Paris. Disneyland Paris is larger than Magic Kingdom even if this didn't strike me...

Then if you compare Disney Studio Paris and MGM Studios, the Paris park has less attractions (it's only 5 years old). Rides based on Nemo and Cars will open in June and the Tower of Terror next year : they will be welcome ! And no Fantasmic here :-(

In Paris, the 'Disney area' has nothing in common with Florida (moreover if you add Universal, Seaworld, etc...) : it's 'only' 2 parks with a few hotels around. Still, some kilometers away, you have the Asterix park and of course Paris itself.

Of course, you can't compare the weather.... :-(
Forget about water parks ;-)

In the end, as a whole, it's obvious Disney Paris can't compete with Florida. Still, I found the rides to be better in Paris... for those that exist here of course.

in no way is there a contest.

Disney World comes out on top as it has so much more to offer, you have 2 water parks, 4 theme parks, downtown disney you have the disney resorts, you have the disney sports place.

Dinsey land comprises some of the attractions from all the other parks into one.

Dinsey Worl dis in a league of its own and cannot be compared, i mean its in the name, Disney 'World' and Disney 'Land' Disney World has so much more to offer. It is the most amazing place i have ever been to and i cant wait to go back for the third time next year

Disneyland Paris is considerably cheaper then the stateside Disneylands, however, and I found myself buying a LOT more souvenirs then I normally would, simply because they were cheaper then I'd find even in a Disney store, let alone expect in a Disney themepark.

Throw in the neighboring region, and I'd greatly prefer Disneyland Paris as an overall vacation spot, but if you're looking solely for the themepark, its not going to win.

that is kinda of like McDonald's exceptionally lots a similar the place ever you pass like D land Japan yet with a distinctively French experience to it. France is a gorgeous usa and may be a super place apart from the French. i will say this devoid of prejudice on account that my family participants is from southern France yet maximum moved to Canada close to a hundred and fifty years in the past. They have been the clever ones. No extremely rural France is o.k. the folk are lots greater friendly yet Paris it incredibly is like they say. The Dutch are very superb so are the Belgians, maximum Europeans are exceptionally cool only the French tend to be nasty. The nicest places interior the european are Wales and the Czech republic because of the fact the folk are only so very superb even interior the super cities.

Have to agree with everyone else - Disneyworld Florida is teh business. Weather is almosr guaranteed (this time of year is superb as it's hot and the queues are nowhere near as long as in summer) and with the £ being worth almost $2 it is a lot cheaper then Paris (which has a reputation for being extortionate!)

Plus in Florida you have the likes of Seaworld, Wet n Wild, Universal Studios etc etc etc...

Got to say USA, it is just as cheap to fly drive to the US and rent a villa for 2 weeks as it is to stay a week in Paris, and the weather is much better.
