She was very starstruck, and on the sensitive side, WHY does EVERYONE keep picking on her? And why did the camera focus on her so many times last night? I mean, the poor kid!

I heard that she was there because she's a terminally ill child and that was her wish..To see the idols live. Make A Wish Foundation made it possible for her. I thought it was sweet that Sanjaya (even though i don't like him) went and gave her a hug.

I agree. I cried at a new kids concert 17 years ago when I was 12. Not that bad, but I did cry. To her Sanjaya is totally famous, she couldn't even believe she was there probably.
She's happy now i'm sure though, she got to go on the stage and give everyone a hug. She'll have a story for her kids for years to come.

Supposedly, she went to see a taping of "Are you smarter than a 5th grader?" with tickets that also entitled her to see a dress rehersal of American Idol.
At the dress rehersal, she was so emotional that the producers porposely invited her to see the taping & sit near the front (so the cameras could find her).

I think she may have had some mental disabilities though. She was taken there by the make a wish foundation...I feel kind of sorry for her, but at least she got her wish.

I was embarrassed for her. The whole thing kind of bummed me out...I mean, to be crying over Sanjaya?! That depresses me.

If I was her mother... I would ground her for lack of taste in music and wasting countless votes on Sanjaya! She would pay for the phone bill if she voted for him under my roof!

well actually it was pretty funny my hubby and I kept laughing our as$e$ off at her. she looked funny and weird. but yeah! that's mean...stop it guys... * cracking a smile*
