Just keep putting vasaline on your lips until they get better. You don't have to waste your month's tan pass but everytime you do go tanning layer up on the vasaline.

You need neutrogena lip healer with spf. It has vitimins that will help, not harsh medicines. It doesnt promise healing and just moisten like so many others do. It really works. It did a remarkable difference on my severly chapped lips less than 24 hours later.

Just like your body, your lips are going to get toasty with the artifical sun. I would wear a protective spf 15+ chapstick while tanning. I would wait a couple of days before you go back, don't want to get 3rd degree burns on your lips - and that hurts!

Make sure you are drinking plenty of water!!! You don't have to stop going tanning, but when you do make sure you use a chapstick that has an SPF in it. Your tanning salon might sell it if you don't already have some. Apply it through out the day. I'm serious about the water! ; )

Try applying mineral oil, that's the best way to heal chapped lips better than petroleum jelly.

well you should definitely not lick your lips while you are in the bed and you should be using a SPF lip balm everyday and especially right before you get in the tanning bed. You can also try Vaseline. good luck!
