Yes. Juvenile jail, which is its own special level of hell. Needless to say, being in jail is a nightmarish experience. It's not even so much that your freedom is completely taken away and that you have to do what you're told (hey, it's jail, so I expected that much). What they don't tell you is how mean the other inmates are. They're your real problem in jail, not the guards. Generally speaking, it's not the guards who'll be trying to kill you with improvised weapons. But ironically, a lot of the time, it can also be really incredibly boring.

I've probably spent around twenty days in county jail.... 15 days was the longest single stretch... it's BORING... that is pretty much it.... the food sucks and you have nothing to do, other than that it was not bad... of course that is county jail, NOT prison....

Not the jail, per se, but I spent a night in a holding cell before. It wasn't bad. Didn't share the cell with anyone or anything.

quite a few times, even to prison. Such as armed robbery(I got back the people money from the corrupt gov.),attempted murder(they were trying to open fire on women and chidren so I shot a rocket at them), and arson (I burnt down the Lab where they kill and torture animals for profit)

once...only for a few hours... for missing a court date for a ticket... you would have thought I was in for murder how dramatic I was being...I was crying like I had been sentenced to LIFE... the woman in the holding cell with me was so casual about it... she was SNORING like she was in her bed... I was like it is FREEZING in here and you are lying on a cement slab... are you serious right now?.... but I saw the judge and went home.... NEVER AGAIN... I am NOT built for jail!

my friend locked me in a closet for over an hour once... does that count?? lol just kidding, i know it doesnt.
one my mom's friend's said it's like kindergarten- keep your hands to yourself, don't provoke the authorities, you're kept on the same tight schedule... the only difference was- more violence and if you drop the soap, don't bother picking it up =)
