you can always draw a line connecting opposite vertices of any quadliteral to make two non-overlapping triangles. label the angles in one triangle, a,b,c and in the other d,e,f since a+b+c = 180, and d+e+f=180,
the total of the angles in the quadliteral is a+b+c+d+e+f= 360 degrees

well divide a quad into 2 triangles and each triangle is 180 degrees so you'd multiply 180 x 2= Figure this out on your own.
