Because you've been brainwashed by Marketing Executives that tell you "buy this and your life will be greatly enhanced, you'll be more beautiful, have more sex, be more respected." etc... Don't watch so many commercials and ignore those campaign adds that try to convince you: "You can't live without this product! Really! You can't!!! Don't you want to run out an buy me?!?!?!"

Also, we are conditioned to try to impress people who mean nothing to us, like our neighboor, coworkers, and perfect strangers. Before you try to "keep up with the Jones's next door" - think about it: "Why am I trying to impress these people? When was the last time they did anything FOR ME? When was the last time they paid my mortgage, or any other of my bills? Never? Well, then, they don't deserve to see me in designer clothing!" After all - when you "dress to impress" - it's REALLY for everyone else's benefit to SEE you looking like that. After all, you only see yourself when you are looking in a mirror. So, unless you plan to sit in front of a mirror all day - why bother blowing $4,000 on a suit?

you are impulsive, have bad impulse control, like smokers, gamblers, sex addicts, drug addicts, bulimics, obese people...just get some help for it. think about it before you go out..don't take a credit card with you..only a small amount of cash to the store. if you have a family...think about their well-being too..not paying your bills affects them too so keep that money...the people with the most money don't necessarily make a whole lot more....they just don't blow it all on trivial stuff...i have heard of millionaires who won't even pay more than 50cents for a cup of coffee. It all adds up in the end. Keep as much as you can now so that you can live well later. Think of the future.

I can help you with that problem. For a fee, I will stop you from wasting cash on things you don't need, and you can waste it on things I would like. Deal?

We all have a void we must fill. It's just the way it is, because God made us that way. Most people will do ANYTHING to fill that void BUT seek their Lord and Saviour.

You fill that void with spending too much.
