This is the info that i got after scaning for virus..

Drive C:\.This file is infected with "W32/SelfStarterInternetTrojan!Maximus" virus and was not disinfected. Since this file is used for storing emails, it was not deleted. It is recommended that you inspect your email messages, delete anything suspicious, empty the deleted items folder, and then rescan the folder containing this file. If the file is still infected, you should delete the file. CAUTION: Deleting this file will result in the loss of all email messages stored in that file.

If you do not have firefox get it now and use it instead of internet explorer so you dont get any more spyware http://securitynewsfromthenet.blogspot.com/

to remove the spyware run steps 1-2-3

1) If you have not already scanned your comp with spybot http://spywarekiller.hyperboards.com/index.php?action=view_topic&topic_id=4 do that now .Update it and then run it so it gets rid of all the spyware and trojans in safe mode

1b) Run AVG Anti-Spyware Free

2) Do an online virus scan to check and remove virus and spyware if you still have viruses on your computer. And let us know if the online virus scan still finds any virus or spyware .

3) Get another anti virus program if your present anti virus program is not protecting you any longer

The info I found on this infection is not very helpful. Most of it is vague and simple says this is a Trojan.

Go to this site and run all the programs it lists and do all the steps. This site is great at removing many variations of Trojans. Do not worry about that last message. That is a message related to manual removal and designed to scare you. Let the programs do the work.

All your virus program is telling you is that you have an email with an attachment that is infected. Follow the directions given to you. You don't need a reformat. Just DO NOT arbitrarily open all attachments. Your computer isn't infected... yet.

Try going back to an earlier time... like 2 days.... before your computer was infected. Your computer will guide you through.
Get Norton Anti Virus. Screw McAfee! they left me naked in the highway!

My marvelous chum died a month in the past and that i positioned a prayer on right here for his family participants and childrens. It became deleted in approximately 4 hours. choose for it nevertheless, I have been given 12 prayers in earlier it became long previous. BTW: sick pray on your chum for their surgical treatment on the twenty third.

you cant delete a virus just like that you would have to uninstall windows off your computer then re-install it that is the only way to do it sorry
