I'd like to buy a kneeling chair, so that I can also sit in an other position when using the computer. The problem is with the kneeling chair I cannot hold the keyboard in my lap which I usually do when I use my normal chair.

I cannot use my desk either, because then the monitor would be to close (it's not a big desk).

Is there any existing solution to use a keyboard with a kneeling chair? I don't want to buy a new desk if possible.

Is there a separate "keyboard holder" thingie which I could put in front of my kneeling chair (no, my desk doesn't have any)? Can you recommend some sites where I could find such things?

I'm also interested in alternative ideas if you have any.

Thanks.

Attached are several suggestions to get you started. I would suggest looking for laptop or notebook tables rather than keyboard tables.

As I see it you have two options -- first is not to use the kneeling chair - I have one and it sits in the other room - after awhile it gets uncomfortable. Next option is to get one of those slide out keyboard trays that mount underneath the desk like the one I have from "Rubbermaid". It works great and slides in out of the way when not in use.

you should try your own diy. If you know how to you can add an extra bit of wood to your desk which you can sit your keyboard on. And it makes it easier to reach aswell
