It's the feast day of high spring, celebrating life in full bloom. It's about fertility, plenty, and the full awakening of life - life's power of continuence is the celebration.

We always hunted for candy when I was a child, but we'll be giving our children their whole Easter baskets. And then I make a nice dinner for the whole extended family. I love to dye eggs in rainbow colors the week before and serve them as deviled eggs with dinner.

my meaning of easter is this. easter is the day that jesus christ rose from his grave. Yes i did celebrate easter when i was a child and i do celebrate it with my children and my family
