You need a music playing CD-rom like Windows Media or download Itunes . Hope you liked my help ???

the only to play your dvd and cd is to get a computer with a dvd disc on it and a cd disc on it so you can play both at the same time

You may have a dvd-rom only unit in your computer. I personally have not seen one but I understand they make them. If this is the case, there is no way to play a cd on it.

Go to my computer, right click on the dvd-rom, click properties, click hardware and see what functions your unit supports.
