How do we stop malicious reporting as entertainment and get a FAIR system ?

here's the thing:
celebrities benefit from these so called "reporters". If the famous didn't, they would sue them for publicizing a lie. Basically, the celebrities will pay these reporters to write about them, so they can stay in the spot light.

You've probably noticed that some Stars just fade away within time (tons of them from the '90s and further on) that's because they want to stay out of the fame and don't bribe these kinds of paparazzi...

Unfortunately, people like Ms. Spears might not want attention, but get it anyway because they're simply doing things and going through situations that the public would be greedy to get their hands on.

That's why the system is so hard to control, but believe me, I want them to cut back as much as you do.

You have to get honest conservative people into the system and push the liberal leftys out. These people need to get into the higher decision making positions of power like chief editor etc. This is how things got corrupted in the first place was the liberal left wackos knew they could not get their trash ideas across so they made a plan to take over the outlets and then they can spew their hate and distructive garbage with impunity.
