I always ask my guy friends that. Some say no and i wish i know y everyone cry but they say im a man but i feel that if you cry you are a man what do you think

you mean that they do cry????
well if you cry other will see you as week, it's kinda ironic, girls want guys who are sensitive but then again girls don't want a guy who is, well, like a girl..... guys are taught to suck it up and act like a man

i am 18 and have not cried since early 7th grade (12 years old). Even when terrible things happen to me, its just not an immediate response of mine to break down. I was told i had a cancerous brain tumor(turned out to be benign) and had my heart broken several times, its just not a natural response of mine. the average man does see crying as a sign of weakness. Most men do cry but are afraid to admit it because some people such as myself simply do not have that reaction, even though we do not judge others on theirs. probably something to do with testosterone and male media stereotypes.

Its a brute toughness thing that has been ingrained in men sence grade school: Real men don't cry. That includes admitting to crying. Then there are those men who trully do not cry, ether because they are happy all the time, compleatly cold and beyond feeling, or like myself they just can't even when they want to.

well first of all everyone has cried in there life and if they say that they havent then there lying. A man dosent like to admit that he crys because he wants to feel macho and he dosent think that its manley to cry. so no man likes to admit it but us women are smart and we know that they cry they probably cry more than we do.

men do cry. having said that, men are raised to believe that showing that kind of emotion is a weakness of sorts.
the truth is, some men choose to be more private about things that hurt them enough to make them cry and other men are more open about it.
but I believe real men not only feel deep emotions but they show them and share them with people who love them.
it isn't weakness, it is strength.
