If your asking here maybe you should take it to a reputable shop so that some idiot doesn't do more damage to your truck...hint, hint.

No really, take off door panel on inside of your truck and figure it out. If you can't, then who's the idiot.

Remove the interior door panel. Held in place by a couple screws (inside door pull area and behind interior door handle). Most of it uses those little plastic snap in dillys that usually explode and you can't reuse them. After you remove the screws, take a flat head screwdriver and work your way around the door panel, using the screw driver to apply pressure as close to the plastic snaps as possible (start at the bottom of the door and work your way up just incase you bust something it is harder to see). Just be careful. Wrap the shank of the screwdriver with some electrical tape to keep from scratching the paint on the inside of the door. Once you get the door panel off, you will have to the hidden bolt that holds the handle (on the side of the handle toward the front of the truck). The other(s) (I say others because I can't remember if it is 2 or 3 bolts at the moment) are on the door jamb area, above the latching mechanism. Take some masking tape and surround the area around the door handle before removal (to keep from scratching the paint). Remove the door handle out away from the truck, it wont come very far because the lock and latch rods are connected to it. Disconnect those, then your in the clear. Remove the lock tumbler by removing the little spring clip, and install on your new handle using the same clip. Then installation is just opposite of removal. If any of the plastic clips get busted, you can buy them at any autoparts stores for almost pennies.

The whole door panel has to come off the inside of the door. There are screws and clips all over the place so be careful as these panels cost an arm and a leg. Once the door panel is off, pull down the vapor barrier and roll up the window that you rolled down to ease the panel removal. Now it's simply a matter of unclipping the rods and unbolting. Be sure to either get a mental picture of how the rods go into the new one as this can be a real pain if you mix things up. Take your time as there are a lot of things inside these doors that are big time expensive to replace if you bugger something up. Also be careful when getting the latch out so as not to scratch your paint. Good luck.
