i have tried loads of times to installl sims double deluxe onto my PC bt it just wont work, i have browsed the web but i still cant find any answer, it stops installation at 24% every time i try, there is only one disk and a bonus disk... HELP!!!!

If you're PC meets the minimum requirements then it sounds like a problem with the disk, I had a faulty Deluxe version a few years back that would only load up to 17%!
Take the disk back to where you got it from and get it replaced, saying that it was a faulty copy. Good luck :)

with double delux there is supposed to be a disc one and adisc two, mine does the same but it is due to scatches on the disc i hope this helps :)

if you do not have scratch on the disk then you may not have enough hard space to hold the game. i had that problem once.

put the cd in the disk drive not in the floppy drive
