go to the beach, walk around south beach, go to bayside, movies.. there is a lot of nice resturants in Miami Beach ... as for the church, there is many good churches, try Alpha & Omega on sundays at 10am they have a really great english service. ummm try to avoid going to downtown miami at night.. its pretty scary there...
whats your purpose of coming over here .. do you want to live here? or just come for vacation... because those 2 are completly different on where you should go and avoid.
email me if you need more help .

Contact the Miami Chamber of Commerce and ask for a newcomers package. Also, subscribe to the Miami Herald or go on line to access it free. All your questions/answers will be there. Buying a Thomas street map would also be a good idea.

when i visit a city and want to know what to do,where to go and not what to do etc, etc. the best source of information i've found is reading the local newspaper,it has the local news,employment/rentals/restaurants/churches/hotels/churches and places to go and the classifieds! and you can always visit the local library....
