i was very young when my parents divorced & it was a traditional African marrige, i was four years & my younger brother was 11 months, my mom took us with her to her family, when i turn 15 i gave him a second chance, yes he called me to stay with him and mom sat me free to him, besides things were not good in her family the breadwinner lost her job, that's my granny. i stayed with him for 6 months & came back home, because of him & his step wife whom they had 1 daughter. I was also disturbed from my studies because i went back home to stay & mom went out for work. life begun to be so unfair to me, infact us.It came a point where i passed my matrick in 2006 & i managed to registerer at the university of Lipompo somewhere in SA, BUT unfortunately my queen(mom) died. WHAT TO DO, DO I GO TO HIM?

My dear child,
This is sad news indeed. Do you ever see your father? Would his new wife accept you if you went to your father?
Maybe you should consider asking your university for a bursary and rather finding part time work to help you to keep yourself going. Do you not have a relative who can help you?
If it didnt work out for you befor with your father why would it work out now? COntinue with your studies and consider part time work at a restuarant or at a shopping centre to earn your keep and work very carefully with your money too. Maybe the university could advise you what to do best.

People outside of Afica do not understand the African culture so the answers you get will not be pertinant to your situation.

Ask at your church too if there is not someone who can help you!

I wish you well my child and I wish with all my heart there was something I could have done for you. All I can do is pray for you that God will open many doors for you.

Feel sorry for your mom ,
It depends how is the situation on his side... & your age also.
you also have to ask your self if is the right choice for you to go live over.. will you feel comftarble ???? You need to sure you are making the right decision.. Good luck

It really depends, how old are you? Do you have another place where you can stay, like a dorm, apartment?

has he asked you to come live with him? Maybe you should talk to him about it first. You don't want him or his new wife to think you're a bother
