I found them at Hot Topic a long time ago and since the first pair I had were ruined I would love to find another set. They look like actual philips-head screws. I cannot find them on the internet anywhere, does anyone have any ideas? I tried the stores but they said I'd have to check online.

I would try hot topic's website. pixelgirlshop.com has funky earrings but I don't know if they have the screw ones that you are looking for.

Are these them??

Screw on earrings were invented about 1920 so human beings could positioned on earrings while not having to have their ears pierced. the standard earring has a familiar U structure that matches around the bottom of your ear. on the acceptable that is going antagonistic to the back of your ear there's a small plate that screws down antagonistic to the back of your ear to carry the earring in position. The earrings may be complete with maximum any form of adornment. they sometimes fell out of trend interior the Sixties and Seventies as pierced ears got here back into trend. I wore screw on earrings in the previous my ears were pierced and could allow you to understand from my personal adventure that pierced earrings are a lot extra smooth to positioned on than screw on earrings.
