Ever wonder why it is madatory for an average commuter to get a smog test every other year on their vehicle and all of these air polluting commercial vehicles ( school buses, public transportation, and big rigs) get away with not having to? I understand the fuel differences for the two but can not understand what makes them exempt from this requirement. Any opinions.....

it all about politics(BONUS PAYCHECK). either you in or not. there are few things they require these commercial vehicles to cut down emission and those are check engine warning light come on if there is a problem with the engine and eliminate black smoke from exhaust. write to www.BreatheEasier.ca.gov.
