Normal swaps include the B-series swap which are done widely due to the east of availability and the aftermarket support. The B Series Family of engines range from a 1.6L to a 2.0L. There are some civics with H-22/H-23 swaps and these days there is a craze for K-Series swaps.

I would recommend just a B-Series for the east of installation.
