People spell "pregnant" like pregnet, pregnent, pregnate. I especially see girls who are PREGNANT spell it wrong. Maybe they should have been more concerned with education instead of conception (making a baby). Does it annoy you too?

OMG, Meg, you are a woman after my own heart!! I thought I was the only person who got annoyed at spelling goof-ups. I would hate to think that my mom couldn't spell pregnant when she was expecting me..thank God she could! You are sooo right! I take pride in being able to read and spell correctly and use correct pronunciation. Don't these folks have any pride in themselves? I could probably go on all day about this but I sure am glad you feel the same way! You must be smart and take pride in that! You go, girl!! Have a good day!!

no, even some of the most educated and best writers don't spell well. And why does someone have to have book smarts to have a child, is love the most important part of being a parent?

all of the "am i pregnant?" questions bug the crap out of me misspelled or not. i think asking a bunch of strangers on a forum if you could be pregnant just shows the level of intelligence, and the spelling just adds to the amusement or irritation.
