Yes, i think the most healthy environment for a mother and her a child is within marriage. I will be honest with you; I have had the opportunity to date single mothers, and they were beautiful. However, when they told me that they had a child, I lost interest. I am not interested in raising some other guy's child. Not to mention, do I have to worry about their crazy ex trying to kill me down the road or maybe just causing trouble. In addition, I think that children should be born within Wedlock. Children need a father figure. Not to mention dysfunctional families only contribute to our countries large quantity of damaged people (DAMAGED GOODS). Children born without a father have abandonment issues. I am sorry if you don't like my views, but I am not changing them and I have answered your question

Well your question is kind of vague, but if I understand it correctly, then absolutely teenage pregancy leads to psychological & social effects. Your hormones are unbalanced, you have mood swings, not to mention you might crave different foods which react differently with your body (ie: a protein called gluten found in wheat, rye, barley, and oats, has been associated with chemical imbalances) not to mention that once you have a baby, it's not just about YOU anymore, you are caring for another human being.
As for social effects, your time with friends is reduced, which might also have psychological effects because the more friends people have the longer they live (generally speaking), in today's world people also assume most pregnant teens are promiscuous, which isn't always the case. You have a greater chance of being looked down upon, not just by your peers but by society in general, for some people though, having a baby is a great motivator to do something better with their lives. It all depends.

well of course it does.
When a child has a child, that child usually always suffers in some way when he is compared to peer who had ADULT parents (all other things equal= no drug abuse etc).
Alot of the statistics that talk about school sucess, they track kids based on income...right or wrong, the kids with the least amount of income do worse
PERIOD! Who do you think those kids (stasitcally speaking) will be, those who are the products of a PLANNED pregnancy or those who arent.
SUre everyone knows someone who beat the odds, but in general, it is not the case.
The girl and the child are living off of the state or the girl is working minimum wage jobs barely making it or the grandmother is raising the child.
The person above that stated that she was 'just as social as ever' illustrates my point precisely! Just not quite mature enough to get it! Adoption is an option
