I just got an email from a ticked off user who said their Answer was better than the one i chose. Wow! FYI I am not offended if you don't give me Best Answer, just so you all know LOL

No I am not offended if I don't win Best Answer.........I am offended when most of the time the answers are sent into voting.........I do a lot of answers in one particular category.........I spend a lot of time doing the research for the best sites to use.........As does everyone else....at least have the courtesy of selecting the Best .
I have however wondered how some of the answers were picked as best.
Below is not quite as bad as your email...........

I would think it will make u feel better to know that u were picked out of those 2 or 30 ppl who answered ur question. If it was a serious question and u answered honestly, then u know that it helped them out and they might put it into consideration. Or if it was a silly question and u answered cleverly, and u got chosen, then that just shows ur sense of humor brought a smile to their face, and that's also a win/win situation. U got it now? My own opinion ofcourse. But I do get what u mean about some ppl taking it wayyyyy to the ******.

I mean, arent there more pressing problems in the world like war and famine than to be worried about having a best answer on yahoo. yikes. (lol). there are definately some sick tickets out there in cyberland.

I don't think the user should have contacted you to tell you that. It is not being a good citizen. I am not offended either if I don't receive best answer it is part of the game.

i have no clue why some people freak out over having someone else with a less informative answer getting best answer. some people just like the ansers that some people give better. besides it is your choice and your opinion. if i were you id just complain to the idiot as long as it takes to make him shut up.

I know it's a good feeling when you get Best Answer, but people shouldn't obsess over it. I mean, I only have a 4% best answer rate( on my other acct, not this one) and I'm perfectly okay with it.

No, I dont feel that it is that important- but its always fun to be picked as best at something!!! Just ignore the user who emailed you.
