i have a line 6 spider amp..wanted to buy a line 6 uber metal distortion pedal; was wondering what else i need to buy in order to connect the pedal to the amp..what kind of cables?

Most likely you'll need quarter-inch male to male (sometimes called "TRS").
You can get cords as short or as long as you need.
Go to the link and check out audio cables and cable adapters.
You might even call these people for help.
I have ordered from them in the past and they are very fair and good to buy from.

Any cable will do.....
Stay away for any of the California Series Cables. The inputs usually go bad after a month or two.
Stick to the name brands and just remember the old saying "You get what you pay for."

Just a good old fashioned amp cable.
yes. that is a male to male cable. just like i said. one just like you hook your amp up to your guitar.
