The link I gave you below will work if you have Adobe Acrobat Reader, it's an application. Filling it out will help get you started but what is really important , is watch for Amazing Race casting calls. When there is one close to your city try and go. When you get there with your partner, you guys need to try and stand out. I saw a show once that told people how to get cast on reality shows. They made it very clear that they typically cast people that have conflicting personalities. The type of people who have very bold personalities often clash with other cast members. If everyone that is casted has this type of personality then there will be alot of conflict and drama. The producers know conflict between the people on the show, equals good ratings. Don't you notice how almost all the CBS reality shows are really based on people like that. Big Brother, Survivor and The Amazing Race, are CBS's major reality shows and all the cast members have personalities like that. They want to cast people that will stand up to each other.

Also you will want to go to the casting call because it is very hard to make a written application stand out. On the show "How To Be a Reality Star" there was a guy who went in to the casting interview with his pants unzipped, then he made a big production about zipping them up. After he was gone one of the producers said "What about the guy with the unzipped pants?" This small thing helped the producers remember him when they were recalling people. It also helped that he had a very bold personality. They said they liked him, he seemed "crazy fun" to be around. They mentioned that he was the personality type they look for, "bold and assertive".

So what I saw on the show that helped people get cast, besides seeming like you aren't afraid to stand up to people (not afraid of conflict). You should do something very bold that will help you stand apart from the rest of the crowd. That's why it's important to go to the casting calls. Then they will remember you when you are gone. You can't really do that with an application. Good luck!
