I have read over some of the questions that have been posted but none of them help in this matter. I have a mic built into my head phones/ear piece. I can hear sound coming from my ear piece when listening to music but when it comes to talking into my mic there is no sound coming from it. I've tried going to sound manager and the settings but nothing is helping. No my mic isn't bad. I had to load Windows Vista again and evrything seems to be working but my mic. I have all my settings on high for the volume. Any suggestions?

Check to make sure the mic is not muted in the sound manager. You may have to select options/propertires and if the box isn't checked besides mic then check it. See if the mic is muted and if so uncheck it.
