Hi,

I am not at all computer savvy, so please forgive me if I don't use the correct jargon.

Basically, I have recently started downloading Torrent files. This was hard enough for me as it's completely new territory!!! Everything was going fine, once I'd downloaded them, I would burn them to a DVD - just as a data disc, and my player can read data discs. Recently I downloaded some movies, and they were 'different'. Instead of just one file, they had millions of them (slight exaggeration), and they werent in any format I recognise.

One of them had an info doc attached with instructions on burning with Nero! So, I thought, 'Ok, I'll see if Nero is for sale on Ebay'.

There are a BILLION different Nero's!

My question (and sorry for taking so long to get to it) is:

WHAT BASIC NERO PACKAGE DO I NEED TO BURN DVD'S???

Yea....
1. A lot of times big files are broken into may pieces for downloading ...Most are WinRAR files...you'll have to extract them into one file (Like a movie or iso image).
2. Now you've got this one big file...more than likely it's in Xvid or DivX format (if it's a movie)...so now you need to convert the format to one that will play on your dvd player at home...
Use VSO ConvertXtoDVD.
3. Now that's it's been converted you need to burn it to a blank dvd...
Personally I use Nero 7 Ultra Enhanced (Burns Blu-ray disks too) for that...it's the best burning software out there as far as I'm concerned whether it be burning music, data, img files or movie files..

Instead of buying Nero why don't you get Div x player on line. It is free and great or even real player. For your direct question, don't know but these are easy to follow and use.

Any of them, from the sixth version up....... one ?: were those gazillion movie files dissected as .c1, .c2 and so? or were they clone extension files?, cause I'm not so sure, but I don't think you'll be able to burn any of them files on a digital versatile disk and read them later with a cd-player or anything like that. If u can't view it on your pc, there's no chance of viewing them on anything else...........
